This Privacy Policy describes how Docffer ("we", "us", "Docffer") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use docffer.com and related services. Docffer is a marketplace and communication platform. Docffer is not a medical provider and does not give diagnosis or medical advice.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, phone, role (patient, doctor, admin, support).
- Patient case information you choose to upload: condition summary, symptoms, files (CT, MRI, X-ray, labs, photos, PDFs, DICOM).
- Doctor verification information: NPI number, license number and state, license type, specialty, clinic, malpractice insurance, identity documents.
- Usage data: device, IP address, log events, file access events, consent timestamps.
2. How we use information
- To verify doctors and operate the marketplace.
- To share anonymized case information with verified doctors in approved specialties.
- To enable comparison of treatment offers and authorized communication.
- To meet legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention, audit and security obligations.
3. What doctors see
Before a patient selects a doctor, doctors only see anonymized case information: condition summary, files marked as de-identified or admin-approved, general city/region and travel radius. Doctors do not see patient name, phone, email, exact address, date of birth, or identity documents.
4. Storage and security
Medical files are stored in private, access-controlled storage. Public download links are not used for medical files. Every doctor access event is logged. Role-based access control and row-level security enforce who can see what.
5. Your choices
You may request export or deletion of your data via our Data Deletion Request page. Some information may be retained where required by law or for fraud, audit, or safety reasons.
6. Children
Docffer is not intended for use by anyone under 18 without an authorized adult.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. We will record the version and the date you accepted it.
